Maap by Erwan Bouroullec brings together three recurring themes in his work: geometry, natural structures and lightness. Conceived as an expansive surface of illumination, its ultralight, paper-like membrane must be crumpled during installation, confronting precise geometry with unpredictability and forming a luminous landscape that can be endlessly reshaped. Resembling a cloud of organic light, Maap
diffuses a soft, immersive glow over a broad area with a design that is both radically simple and inherently complex.
