Harri Koshinen is a designer from Finland, closely associating his work with dignity and courage. He approaches design in a dualistic manner, where he works to marry the strict and rational approach with free and intuitive perspectives. Fundamentally, his designs are motivated by purpose, creating functional designs. He believes that Scandinavian design is very much in touch with the society's ideals, where whilst people explore their individual spaces, they are also constantly called to give back. Harri Koshinen has been recognised as the Designer of the Year in Finland, and is also celebrated by several international Best Product Awards.
