Dutch designer Joris Laarman graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2003, and received international recognition for his "Heatwave radiator" produced by the Dutch design brand Droog, later manufactured by Jaga Climate Systems. Joris Laarman Lab was founded in 2004 between Laarman and his partner Anita Star, in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The lab focuses on exploring new possibilities with emerging technologies such as 3D printing, robotics and simulation software. Laarman continues to gain traction and recognition for his designs, with permanent collections and exhibitions across Europe.
