Originally a philosophy student, Marie-Aurore Stiker-Metrall went into a design-oriented training at ENSCI-Les Ateliers. Her designs were recognised early on, during her tenure at ENSCI, where she obtained a bursary from VIA to develop her 'La Pliée' chair, which is now being produced by Ligne Roset. She went on to gain even more experience and accolades under her belt, especially by working under renowned designers like Erwan Bouroullec who was the mentor for her graduation project. She is a versatile artist who explores different modes of production, and continues to experiment out of the box to create vibrant and unique designs in colour, texture, silhouette and method.
