Originating from Belgium, Charlotte Lancelot is an Industrial Designer from La Cambre. After working with architect and designer Alain Berteau for two years, Lancelot set up her own design studio, where she quickly gained recognition for her works. In 2006, merely 3 years since she finished her studies, she was chosen by Wallpaper magazine to organise the Global édit 06 exhibition in the Armani Theatre during Designweek. Lancelot's success is marked by her prevalent presence in various exhibitions worldwide, in particular the Museum of Modern Art, Luxembourg, which commissioned her to create a table set in 2010, and the “transculturelle” exhibition focusing on new trends, created by Elisabeth Leriche during the Maison et Objet trade fair. Since 2007 she has been teaching design at the Instituto de Arquitectura de Interiores de St Luc. Lancelot is deeply attached and inspired by her surroundings. As such, her designs possess the ability to connect emotionally. Her design motivations are the ecology, modernism, and fundamentally, the desire to improve lifestyles.
