In the same vein as COVER 1, Marie Christine Dorner has dreamt up a cover which fits its structure like a glove, a skin even. COVER, divested
of its winter covering, becomes UNCOVER. A light, compact all-foam settee which is easy to use, and just as easy to move : freedom !
- a quilted, machine-stitched version, using the same method used for l’Imprévu. Suitable for use with all fabrics in the collection (NB except technical impossibilities). - a stretch version, covered in either Maxi or Moby (grade N).

Marie Christine Dorner sojourned through the big cities of London, Paris and Tokyo, defining her characteristic designs that are populated with well-established brand names familiar to many homes today. Designer, interior architect and graduate of the école Camondo, Paris, she spent a year in Tokyo designing her first collection of furniture for Idée, before opening her first office in Paris. The diversity of her design spreads across a wide spectrum, from the presidential grandstand (tribune présidentielle du 14 juillet) at the top of the Champs Elysées to street furniture for the city of Nîmes. Marie-Christine Dorner has lectured in both London and France, and is recognised by the Grand Prix du Design de la ville de Paris in 1995.
