In addition to this rug, the collection includes two sizes of modular seats, screens that may be used as backrests or dividers, and a pair of cushions, all of them featuring a different version of the embroidered graphics on the carpet. This unique design is the result of Neri&Hu's interest in reviewing the functions of the traditional oriental screen as well as an exercise in deconstructing the usual format of a sofa.
In combination with the other pieces in the Lan collection, the rug undoubtedly contributes to reinforcing the sensation of cohesive “space”. It is, however, an element with independent decorative character and can be used separately. They come in four different sizes.
LAN, A GAN SPACES COLLECTION GAN spaces are collections meticulously constructed from innovative concepts and artisanal production methods. Suggestive proposals that, stemming from a rug, are capable of bringing to life a whole family of modules and accessories with which to design an environment or “space”. A set of designs linked together, designed to project stimulating and contemporary atmospheres with an open, flexible and casual configuration.
