The first collaboration between Naoto Fukasawa and Conde House resulted in KAMUY, a dining furniture collection. KAMUY means holy spirits in the language of Hokkaido’s indigenous people (Ainu), which has grown to be one of our most popular collections. YUKAR means epic poems in Ainu language. We, by naming these consecutive collections as KAMUY and YUKAR, express our feeling of awe and appreciation to Nature.
The Yukar Lux Living Sofa and Armchair are featured by the tapered legs, finely-designed arm shape, and broad solid-wood back rail. All the applied finish colours are selected to match the wood character of the sofa to create a warm atmosphere. By changing the positions of the optional cushions, users can make their own sofa according to their use and taste.
