Founded by Stefan Scholten (b. 1972) and Carole Baijings (b. 1973) in 2000, Scholten & Baijings is a design studio situated in Amsterdam. Both of them are perfectionists, which sets their designs apart from others by the careful consideration of colours, texture, structure and graphic elements. They are recognised by their works for prestigious institutions and brands, and have won several international awards including the Dutch Design Award, the Wallpaper Design Award and the ELLE Decoration International Design Award.
