Founded in 2004 by Grégoire Jeanmonod (b. 1978), Elric Petit (b. 1978) and Augustin Scott de Martinville (b. 1980), who are Swiss, Belgian and French respectively, Big-Game is a design studio based in Switzerland. The diverse backgrounds of the trio of designers enable their works to combine a relaxed South European approach with a type of Flemish functionality, which has brought them a number of international design awards. The constant element across their design portfolio as a design studio is their preference for simple and functional objects. They have experience with both small and large product design briefs, and are all currently teaching at ECAL, in Lausanne, Switzerland - this injects them with an energy that can be found in their designs.
