GamFratesi’s Tulou Table was inspired by the traditional design of a tray table and the extra functional dimension it offers. Comprising two basic elements – a spun steel round tray with a firm, easy-to-hold edge and a four-legged frame in tubular steel – the minimalistic design enables the tray to be moved around different spaces. Available in a choice of sizes, colours and finishes, its flexible design means it is suitable for use in a wide range of private and public contexts.
GamFratesi is a design agency based in Copenhagen, comprising architect Stine Gam (born in Denmark in 1975) and industrial designer Enrico Fratesi (born in Italy in 1978). The duo met whilst studying together in Italy, before founding their agency in 2008. The cross-cultural backgrounds of the pair allow the stories told by their works to possess an additional layer of meaning, where they inculcate tradition, innovation and functionality by fusing Danish traditional craftsmanship with the Italian contemporary approach. GamFratesi is celebrated internationally, with exhibitions worldwide.
